Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Ratta (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service immediately.

Description of Service

Ratta is a browser-based coding workspace for practicing data structures and algorithms. It provides curated problem lists, language-specific starter templates, a code editor, and a remote judge service for code execution. All workspace state is stored locally in your browser.

Use of the Service

You agree to use Ratta only for lawful purposes. You may not:

  • Submit malicious code designed to exploit, damage, or compromise the judge service or its infrastructure
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, its servers, or connected systems
  • Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or bulk-download problem content
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or impose an unreasonable load on our infrastructure
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service

Intellectual Property

Problem statements, editorial content, solution approaches, and starter templates are the intellectual property of Ratta or are used under license. You may use this content for personal educational purposes but may not redistribute, republish, or commercially exploit it without written permission.

Code you write in the workspace is yours. Ratta claims no ownership over your solutions or drafts.

Code Execution

When you run code, it is sent to our judge service for compilation and execution in a sandboxed environment. We reserve the right to reject, terminate, or rate-limit submissions that violate these terms or threaten system stability. Execution results are provided on a best-effort basis.

Local Data

Your progress, drafts, and preferences are stored in your browser's IndexedDB. Ratta is not responsible for data loss caused by clearing browser storage, switching browsers, or device failure. We recommend exporting important work independently.

Availability & Changes

We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice. Problem content, features, and supported languages may change over time.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or fit for any particular purpose. Use of the Service is at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ratta and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including loss of data, code, or progress.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Continued use of Ratta after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
