Privacy Policy

Overview

Ratta is a local-first coding workspace. Your progress, drafts, and workspace state are stored in your browser's IndexedDB and never leave your device unless you explicitly choose otherwise. We are committed to minimal data collection and complete transparency about what we do and do not store.

Data We Collect

Local storage only. Problem progress, code drafts, language preferences, and workspace layout are persisted in IndexedDB within your browser. This data is never transmitted to our servers.

Code execution. When you run code, your source is sent to our judge service for compilation and execution. We do not log or retain submitted code beyond the lifetime of the execution request.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymous, aggregated usage metrics such as page views and feature usage counts. We do not send code drafts, solutions, or custom test case values to Google Analytics, and these metrics contain no personally identifiable information.

Data We Do Not Collect

  • Personal information (name, email, phone number)
  • Account credentials (there are no accounts)
  • Cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking
  • Browsing history beyond the current session
  • Your code drafts or solutions

Third-Party Services

Ratta is hosted on Cloudflare. Standard infrastructure logs (IP address, request timestamp, response status) may be retained by Cloudflare in accordance with their privacy policy. We also use Google Analytics 4 for anonymous product analytics. We do not use advertising networks or social media trackers.

Browser Storage

All user data is stored locally using IndexedDB via the Dexie library. You can clear this data at any time through your browser's developer tools or site settings. Clearing browser data will permanently remove all saved progress and drafts.

Children's Privacy

Ratta does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Since we collect no personal information and require no account creation, the platform is safe for users of all ages.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of Ratta after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
